Age of War has really got me hooked. Even though I've beaten it twice on impossible, I can't help but play it over and over due to the cool little characters and the immense feeling of joy I get when I go from underdog to supreme master! Most people have been complaining it's too easy: well that's what happens when you play it on easy (normal) mode! Harder is a challenge, and impossible takes a lot of clever tactics. Luckily, I played this thing for hours and figured out the best tactics so you don't have to. To learn how to conquer impossible mode and beat it 100% of the time, go to the next page!

For those of you who have already attempted to complete Impossible mode I expect your first reaction is "How the heck can I bet impossible mode, it's impossible". Well never fear, I have the answers!

The following guide will tell you the best tips and secrets to beat impossible mode!

Tips:
-> Use cavemen a lot!
-> Chicken cannons are good
-> Always use specials
-> The top military weapon is a must
-> Have many turrets
-> Only attack enemies when they are in range of a turret

Walkthrough:

In case those tips weren't enough, here is the walkthrough for the lazier people amongst us (just kidding ;] ):

1) Wait for a few cavemen to come out of the base and then fire off your special, you should get more than 200 gold after this.
2) Buy a ‘chicken cannon’ with your gold.

3) The chicken can kill a caveman on it's own without assistance. So let it shoot enemies without interruption. When more than 1 caveman comes into range though, buy as many cavemen as you can afford until all your enemies are dead. Stop buying cavemen as soon as you think you have enough to kill all enemies in range of the turret.

4) DO NOT GO UP LEVELS, ALWAYS BUY CAVEMENT FOR 15 GOLD EACH. Continue pumping out cavemen when enemies come into range until the AI has upgraded to the third level, at this point just keep building cavemen regardless of whether the enemy is close or not. Sounds silly but think about it, it costs 200 gold for a duel and you could buy 13 cavemen for that. Anything you do on impossible mode dies in 1 hit usually so you may as well have a huge quantity so the enemies are slowed down long enough for the turrets to do the damage.
5) Remember to keep shooting off your special whenever it's ready

6) When you have enough cash, add another turret space and build a ‘chicken cannon’ on it.
7) When you have 45,000 exp and 14,000 gold saved up (the enemy should already be sending soldiers by now, and you should have loads of cavemen built up), upgrade to the 4th level and sell a chicken cannon and replace it with the best military cannon.
8) The turret should be able to kill any enemy it encounters, as soon as you have another 14,000 gold, sell the other chicken and replace with another military gun.
9) Once you have enough for another turret spot and a third cannon, get them both.
10) When you have 3 cannons and 200,000 experience, upgrade to the final level.
11) Save up 100,000 gold and replace a military turret with the best turret money can buy. Once you have 2 of these, you\'ve won the game! Just watch as they kill everything in their path and the stray bullets smash their base to pieces.
