Rusty Arcade

We've been working really hard over these past few weeks to bring you a much more pleasant flash gaming experience. So you can enjoy the best new flash games, and get them delivered to you with maximum ease. We have some really exciting new stuff for you so keep reading to find out more about what cool new we've got for you, and a little about what else we have in store too.

We've amped up almost every aspect of the website to provide more interactivity and ease of use. Hopefully you're all digging the new design already, but here is a list of all the other new features we've developed for the site...

• Rusty Blog - We've created a blog as part of the website. This blog will keep you up to date on new and exciting games. On top of this we will also be providing more walkthroughs and tips for games. Games and articles are automatically linked together so you can find all the information you need straight from the game page.
• Experience Gathering - If you sign up for an exclusive Rusty Arcade account you can now start earning experience points and Rusty Arcade Tickets. Experience points give you more voting power, and allow you to become a more respected member in the community. RA Tickets are being kept secret for now, but all will be revealed soon!
• User Pages and Customization - Users now have public pages which displays their recently played games and list of their personal favourites. Users are able to customize information about themselves which is displayed on their public profile too. Users can also upload their own avatar to express themselves even more.
• User Reviews and Comments - Yeah yeah, it's long overdue. But now you can do it and let your opinions be known to the masses, of course you have to be signed up. It's quick and painless, don't be shy.
• RSS - Yeah this one is also overdue, but it's here now. Newest games will pop up as soon as they're added.
• Web 2.0'd - Buzz Word!!! We have more Web 2.0 going on. There will be more Web 2.0 to come too.

There are more little features hanging around the site too. So feel free to explore what we have to offer and check them out.

Everyones user account should have been moved over, although some accounts have been deleted. Included in these are users who gave an invalid email address, and users who signed up with a username that contained stupid symbols and characters. If you are a victim of this then we appolagise. You are welcome to sign up again on the new system.

So that's about it for this phase. Next phase will be including more user centric functionality, possibly even badges challenges, and of course Rusty Arcade Tickets. So look out for those over the coming months! The times they are a-changing, and it's going to be awesome!
