So each week we're going to do little reviews of a select few flash games. Obviously we can't review them all, becuase that's effort. But you guys can always comment on the games and share your own opinions.
So lets get started with Polygonal Fury, a game that's based around skill and some luck. The aim is to get a gold on every level, by detonating circles, squares and triangles to trigger a chain reaction. Something about games based around luck always gets me hooked. I somehow think that I can do better next time, and keep trying. So this game hit the right spot for me.
It's very similar to a lot of games we've seen before, like chain reaction. Only the shapes behave differently, for instance triangles shoot a random other shape and squares fire out horizontally or vertically.
If you get chance, check this game out, I spent a lot of time trying to get a gold on every level, although I gave up on the Insane levels. Although it should come with a warning that frustration is a high possiblity, especially with those bloody green squares.

So next up is Roly Poly Cannon 2. This is is similar to the Ragdoll Cannon games, only with Roly Poly characters. Once again it proves kind of addicting, and it's pretty simple to complete by spamming bombs, but the true task lies in trying to do it without hurting the little yellow friendly dude, and in using as few bombs as possible. A pretty fun game all around, but it does get frustrating.

The final game this week is Spark Game. This is the odd one out this week I guess, as it's a platformer. No luck on this one! Woo! Different levels come with different goals, ranging from killing a number of enemies, to collecting items. You play a futuristic floating ship thing, that has some slightly annoying physics going on, especially when you have to be accurate with the platform jumping, but the game expects you to use certain elements of the physics engine to get up slopes and curves and other such things. It's quite a fun game, not my favourite, but the combat is pretty good, and the gravity beam is a neat idea to add an extra element to the game.

Anyway, if any of those games tickle your fancy, go check them out and let us know what you think to them.
If you have a game that you'd like us to feature next week, drop us a line and we'll could be reviewing your game next week.
