Gretel and Hansel Walkthough

House Screen

• Mouse Click when Mouse icon shown
• Use arrow keys or ASWD Keys to move Gretel to Flashing icon on left wall
• Watch Dialogue Scene with Parents

House Screen 2

• Move Gretel over to bed using Arrow or ASWD Keys.  Obtain Slingshot
• Click and hold with Mouse to aim slingshot release mouse to shoot slingshot
• Break bottom right window pane to let fly into room
• Wait until fly is above Hansel’s Head then hit fly with slingshot
• Watch cut scene with Hansel
• Walk over to arrow above the rocking horse
• Click rocking horse to move out of way
• Move to hole in the rear wall of the house and click on the hole or Gretel’s thought bubble to exit

Outside House (Find the 10 Stones)

Stone 1 (First Stone) -  In plain sight to the right of the stairs in the bottom right third of the screen

Stone 2 (Stairs Stone)- Behind the stairs, walk down them go left, up and right into the left side of the stairs.  You can see it sparkling slightly near the third step from the bottom.

Stone 3 (Log Stone)- Behind the log on the bottom Right Corner of the Screen

Stone 4 (Wooden Board Stone)- Shoot the wood to the right of the window above the hole Gretel crawls out of.  It will break and the stone will drop down to the ground.

Stone 5(Bird Stone) -

-Go back inside the house by clicking on the hole on the side of the house or the crawling icon that appears above Gretel when she’s standing hear the hole on the side of the house. 

-Walk over to Hansel and pick up the paper he is drawing on

-Walk over to the fireplace and open your knapsack and drag the paper to the fireplace

-Shoot the clasp on the pipe directly above the fireplace.  It is sparkling in the unlight, the sparks will catch the paper on fire. 

- Go outside.  The bird’s nest will be on fire and the bird will drop the stone on the roof.  It will roll bounce off the roof and land on the ground.

Stone 6 (Bee Stone) -   

-Shoot the stick that is in the top left corner of the screen near the hanging cage.  It will break and fall to the ground. Pick it up. 

-Stand under the beehive, open your knapsack and drag the stick to the beehive.  Move out of the way. 

-Go underneath the house (spider screen) by walking up to the right of the stairs and then directly left.

-Pick up the red spotted mushroom on the right side of the screen near the tree roots. Go back to the main house screen.

-Walk to the area around the bees.  Open the knapsack and drag the mushroom to the bees. Bees will die.  Take Stone.

Stone 7 (Root Stone)-

-Go underneath the house (spider screen) by walking up to the right of the stairs and then directly left.

-Walk behind the root on the far left side of the screen. Stone is there.

Stone 8 (Well Stone)-

-Walk to the far right side of the outdoor house screen then walk up towards the well in the distance.  You’ll come to the well screen.

-Pick up the bucket on the right side of the screen near the bunny.

-Walk up behind the well, the crow will drop the stone into the well and the vines with black flowers will cover the top of the well. 

-Shoot the flowers to turn them white, you must turn all the flowers white for the vines to disappear.  The best way to turn them white is to shoot in between the flowers:
-shoot in between the right four flowers until they all turn white on one shot
-shoot in between the middle two flowers
-shoot the middle flower on the left side of the well, there should be one flower above and below this flower. 

-Walk behind the well and open your knapsack.  Drag the bucket to the well. Gretel will bring the stone up in her bucket.

Stone 9 (Spider Stone) -

-Get Stone 6 First and kill the bees (described above).

-Walk to the broken beehive until a sticky icon appears.  Open your knapsack and drag the doll to the broken beehive.  Gretel will cover the doll in honey.

-Walk underneath the house (the spider screen)

-Walk to the left or the right of the spider shadow.  Open your knapsack and drag the honey covered doll to the spider shadow.

-Walk up to spider’s nest and retrieve the stone

Stone 10 (Squirrel Stone) -

-Gather 3 Acorns:

Acorn 1- Behind the log to the left of the stairs, the smaller log next to the larger log in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Acorn 2- Behind the log on the well screen

Acorn 3 – Behind the large rock on the spider screen to the left of the Spider’s shadow.

- Go underneath the house (spider screen) by walking up to the right of the stairs and then directly left.

- Shoot the crank covered in webs on the large rock to the left of the spider’s shadow.  Pick up the crank.

-Go back to the main outdoor house screen.  Move Gretel near the red button on the right side of the house and either push it by clicking it with your mouse or by shooting it. 

-Open your backpack and drag the crank to the slot above the button when Gretel is standing near it.  Press the crank to raise the cage.

-Walk over to the area below the hanging cage.  Open your knapsack and drag the 3 acorns to the area directly below the cage (there’s a subtle ring on the ground) Walk back over towards the red button the right side of the house.

-The squirrel should appear in the top left corner of the screen.  Shoot the squirrel to make it come down to the acorns.  Shoot or press the button to drop the cage on the squirrel.  Pick up the stone it drops.

Cart Scene:

-Move Gretel with the arrow keys or the ASWD keys.  Use the space bar to jump and the mouse to shoot rocks with her slingshot. 

-Press the stone button that appears on the bottom left corner occasionally.

-Avoid obstacles like squirrels or stumps.

-Protect Hansel from the Crow by shooting it when it picks Hansel up.

DEATHS

Spider Death – Walk into the Spider’s shadow under the house.

Bee Death- Walk into bees that are swarming around their downed hive

Crow Death- Walk up to the left side of the well.  Crow will fly down to the left side of the well.  Click on the crow to pet it.

Fire Death-  After lighting the paper on Fire inside the house, stand in the flames for 7 seconds.

Hansel Death- Shoot Hansel with the slingshot 6 times in a row

Rabbit Death- Pick up the rabbit and continue to kiss for 30-40 seconds

Axe Death- 

• Shoot clock off the left wall in kid’s bedroom

• Kill Hansel and Pick up large clock arm that appears in Room

• Step or shoot butterfly on the Well Screen and pick up small clock arm

• Open knapsack and click on the clock. Set the large clock arm to 6 and the small clock arm to 4 by clicking on them to rotate them.  You will hear a clicking sound when they are on the right number. Key will pop out of clock and replace the clock in the inventory

• Go back into kid’s bedroom and stand near the door, use the key on the door.

Hansel Cart Death- Let the crow pick up Hansel and drop him on the ground

Father Cart Death- Shoot Father three times in a row

Gretel Cart Death- Let the cart trample Gretel
