Hello again!
So I've got my 360 elite fixed and ready to put inside my millenium falcon. I bought a 1979 millenium falcon with all it's accessories intact from Ebay for about £50.
I unscrewed the top from the bottom and after much pondering as to how I would go about it, I attacked the inside with a dremel. The smallest bits kept exploding so I opted for a heavy duty reinforced cutting wheel. The plastic wasn't cutting off so much as it was melting off, so I wore a mask and safety goggles, safety first kids!
Below is a picture of my, some would say ruined, Millenium falcon. As you can see most of the non-structurally-important parts have been removed to make as much space as possible for the Xbox motherboard.
Once I gutted the inside, I tried out the motherboard in every configuration to find the best fit. To be honest I'm still undecided but below is what it could potentially look like
Next time I'll show you how I've gone about extending the ports of the Xbox so I can place them where I see fit
